In 2021, the Sasha Waltz & Guests dance company began an innovative artistic process that translated into continuous production of both digital and live formats. Terry Rileys _In C_ (1964) is the musical foundation of this work, a composition considered revolutionary. On this milestone of the history of music, the famous German choreographer Sasha Waltz and the dancers of her company have developed a choreographic work that follows an equally variable structure, deliberately designed not to be a finished scenic piece, but in continuous evolution. The result is an experimental system of 53 choreographic figures that fit into a structured improvisation, a dynamic and modular system adaptable in different times and formats.
