Siamo piuttosto sicuri che quasi tutti abbiate confidenza con questo gioco. Probabilmente perché è molto difficile trovare un film di tema universitario senza una scena che includa studenti bevendo birra e festeggiando attorno ad un tavolo.
Comunque, per quelli che si chiedono come si giochi a questo "sport" e quali siano le regole, abbiamo preparato una breve spiegazione:
Generalmente il beer pong è un gioco alcolico in cui i giocatori lanciano una palla da ping pong su un tavolo cercando di farla cadere nei bicchieri della squadra avversaria.
Le squadre* che dovranno essere formate da 2 membri otterrano 2 bicchieri per ogni turno, quindi un bicchiere per ogni membro della squadra.
Se una pallina da ping pong cade in un bicchiere, la squadra avversaria deve bere. Il bicchiere vuoto sarà allora rimosso dal tavolo.
Il gioco continua in questo modo, con entrambi i giocatori di una squadra bevendo, seguiti da entrambi i giocatori dell'altra squadra.
La squadra che riesce a ripulire il tavolo dai bicchieri della squadra avversaria è la vincitrice, con la squadra avversaria dividendosi il contenuto dei bicchieri rimasti della squadra vincente.
Anche se i bicchieri saranno disposti a formare una piramide, non necessariamente rimangono in quel modo.
Più bicchieri saranno rimossi, più difficile diventerà fare colpi. Tenendo conto di questo, i bicchieri posson essere riposizionati - la squadra colpente può scegliere come vuole che i bicchieri siano ridisposti.

*Se non trovi un compagno di squadra, cercheremo di associatri ad un altro atleta

“ESN Beer Pong Tournament”

Do you like sports? Are you a competitive person? We are. We are great fans of the ULTIMATE Erasmus sport: Beer Pong!  Participate in the ultimate ESN beer pong tournament on Thursday, October 14th. The beer pong champions will receive a fantastic ESN prize!  So take up the challenge and show us what you got!

How much is the participation fee? 4€

We are pretty sure most of you are familiar with this game. Probably because it is very difficult to find a college-themed movie without a scene that includes students drinking beer and cheering around a table.
However, for the ones that are not and wonder how this “sport” is played and what the rules are; we prepared a short explanation:

In general, beer pong is a drinking game where players throw a ping pong ball across a table intending to land the ball in the opposing team’s cups.
Each team takes their respective shots. The teams* that should consist of 2 members will get two (2) shots for each turn, so one shot per team member
If a ping pong ball lands in a cup, the defending team needs to consume this cup. The empty cup will then be removed from the table
The game continues in this way, with both players from one team taking a shot, followed by both players from the other team.
The team that is able to clear all of the opposing team’s cups first is the winner, with the losing team splitting the contents of the winning team’s remaining cups.
Although the cups will be set up in a pyramid shape, they don’t necessarily stay that way.
As more cups are being removed, it gets of course more difficult to make shots. To account for this, the cups can be “re-racked” - the shooting team can choose how they want the cups to be rearranged.
