Did you know that Brescia has Pyramids?
We have never been under the rule of ancient egypt don't get me wrong but we have very particular and ancient geological phenomena like those in the Cappadocia region of Turkey.
For those who are passionate about Hiking and discovering the surroundings of Brescia this is a good opportunity. We're going to bring you on a spectacular itinerary that allows you to admire Lake Iseo and Camonica Valley from above while experiencing unique sensations, see the Pyramids and visit Iseo town.
When? saturday 1st October 2022
Where? Meeting point is Mompiano metro station at 09:30 am
we consider to be back in Brescia around 5 pm.
Prices? We'll share the fuel cost in base of the participants will be between 7 and 3 euro be ready to pay with verse.
What is needed:
+ hiking shoes
+ water
+ lunch box
+ warm clothes (On top around 1200 m it's going to be around 10-12 °C)
+ change of clothes
Itinerary is divided in three parts
1) Corna Trentapassi. We walk on the same route outward and return journeys to avoid the most difficult parts and enjoy the magnificent view of the lake. 521 m Ascent, 6 km distance in total, highest point 1.213 m lowest point 693 m, 3h walking divided by the lunch.The path is not difficult but it's steadily uphill. Impressive walking on the mountain ridge.
2) Natural Reserve of the Pyramids of Zone, almost flat wolk of 1h. In addition to the pyramids we should look for dinosaur footprints. Hidden objects won't be that easy to be found.
3) Enjoy Iseo town. Let’s take an aperitive over there.
