“Brescia Underground”

Sei pronto ad esplorare i misteriosi sotterranei di Brescia?
Unisciti a noi domenica 5 dicembre in una visita gestita dall’associazione @Bresciaunderground!
Il tour consiste in un'esplorazione della città sotterranea con caschi, torce e stivaloni. Scenderemo dalla camera del Serraglio alla Porta Rossa e poi vedremo, camminando lungo il letto del fiume, siti di valore storico sotto la superficie urbana. Infine sbucheremmo nel quartiere del Carmine. Si tratta di un tour impegnativo ma decisamente affascinante e unico.

L'attività è finanziata dall'Università degli Studi di Brescia, grazie al bando 2020/21 per le attività culturali promosse dagli studenti. La partecipazione è gratuita e aperta a tutti gli studenti UNIBS. I posti sono limitati (50 persone).

Quando? Domenica 5 dicembre. Primo gruppo alle ore 9, secondo gruppo alle ore 15.
Dove? Fuori dalla Porta Rossa, Via Annibale Calini 7 (vicino a Piazza Vittoria), Brescia.

Chi prima arriva, meglio alloggia

Per partecipare devi obbligatoriamente avere con te:

  • Jeans (no leggings) con una cintura
  • Felpa e giubbino
  • Bandana o cuffia
  • Guanti da giardinaggio
  • Calzini spessi
  • Torcia (meglio non usare quello del telefono per evitare di perderlo)

Chi non ha il materiale richiesto non può partecipare.

In caso di forti piogge o allagamenti l'evento potrebbe essere rimandato, in ogni caso sarete informati in anticipo.

Are you ready to explore the mysterious underground of Brescia?
Join us on Sunday, December 5th in a guided tour by @Bresciaunderground !
The tour consists of an exhibition of the city underground with helmets, flashlights and big boots. We would go down from the Serraglio chamber at the Red Door and then walk along the riverbed, and see sites of historical value below the urban surface. Finally we will emerge in the district of Carmine. It is a demanding but definitely fascinating and unique tour.

The activity is funded by the University of Brescia, thanks to the 2020/21 call for cultural activities promoted by students. Participation is free and open to all UNIBS students.

When? Sunday, December 5th, 2021. First group at 9 am, second group at 3 pm
Where? Outside Porta Rossa, Via Annibale Calini 7 (near Piazza Vittoria)

Places are limited (50 only)! First come, first served

To participate you should bring:

  • Jeans (no leggings) with a belt
  • Sweatshirt
  • Bandana or bonnet
  • Gardening gloves
  • Thick socks
  • Flashlight (better not use a cell phone in order to avoid losing it)


It Is compulsory, who doesn't have the equipment required can't participate.

In case of heavy rain or flooding the event could be postponed, in any case you will be informed beforehand.
